You should never feel a compulsive need to give something on your visit, but all gifts received with great appreciation. The gifts to be donated from the heart. All donations helps the Temple to conduct its business. - Money is never wrong regardless of amount. One euro from a poor could be worth as much as a million euro's from a wealthy. It's the thought and effort that counts. - Cooked food is donated as a rule every day to the monks of the visiting Buddhists. No one brings or starts to eat before the the monks/nuns. - Never donate opened packages - Talk to frequent visitors of the temple which products they need.
